Ada Michigan

The city of Ada, Michigan is located in Kent County right along M-21. Ada features over 1,000 acres of public land, and it is surrounded by Barry and Ionia counties. Ada was founded in 1836 and was originally known as Bronson. It’s rumored that the city was renamed Ada in honor of Ada Smith, the Daughter of the first postmaster in the area.

Ada Michigan is a small town located in the northwest region of the state. The city has a population of just over 5,000 people and is home to a variety of businesses. One of the most famous businesses in Ada is Amway, but there are also a number of restaurants, banks, and other service businesses. One of our favorite places in Ada is the Ada Garage bar and grill. It has great food and a fun atmosphere, and it’s the perfect place to relax after a long day.

Parks and Trails

The city also has a variety of parks, and many excellent trails for hiking and biking such as Seidman park trails and the Egypt valley trails. The hiking trails at Seidman Park and Egypt Valley are a great place to explore the natural beauty of the area. The trails wind through forested areas and around lakes, providing hikers with a variety of beautiful views. The trails are well-maintained and provide a great workout, making them a popular destination for hikers of all skill levels.

Civic Organizations

The city of Ada is home to a variety of churches and civic organizations. The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce is active in the community and hosts a number of events each year, including a 4th of July parade and fireworks show, a farmers market which is open from June until October, and a holiday tree lighting event. The Chamber is committed to promoting business and economic development in the area, and works to support local businesses and entrepreneurs.

The city also has a number of churches, including several Catholic churches, a Methodist church, and a Baptist church. These churches offer a variety of services and programs, and are an important part of the community. In addition, Ada has a number of civic organizations, including the Ada Kiwanis Club, the Ada Lions Club, and the Ada Rotary Club. These organizations work to improve the quality of life in the community by sponsoring events and projects that benefit the residents of Ada.

Covered Bridge

The Ada Covered Bridge is a beautiful sight to behold. It was constructed in 1867 and is one of nine covered bridges that remain standing in the state of Michigan. The bridge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Ada is a great place to live, work, and raise a family. The city has a small-town feel while still offering all of the amenities that you would expect from a larger city.
